Repair on Site

Repair Process:
1. Identification

3. Brushing Out
a. Skiving the rubber damage using rotary gouge
b. Brushing out includes the removal of all the damaged parts of the tire. Grind all damaged radial tyre cords back into solid rubber.
4. Measurement of Damaged
The dimensions of damages to the casing ply, on the sidewall and on the crown are defined by a rectangle: Length by Width
5. Brushing the patch position
Mark out three lines:
a. Draw around the outline of the patch;
b. Draw a second line 20 to 40 mm from the outside of the first line
c. Then a third at a distance “patch line” inside the first line.
6. Measurement of the thickness to be cured
The thickness taken into account for the cure law is the total thickness of the tyre in the repair zone.
7. Solution
Apply black cement, first coat outside and inside, drying time is 40 minutes to 60 minutes.
Apply second coat, drying time is 20 to 40 minutes.
